Challenges to a diverse organisation
Our client is a Swiss institution that defines itself as representing the interests of rural areas and providing education to support their development. The diversity of Switzerland is reflected in the wide range of conditions affecting the work of this organisation: particularly the collaboration between the various locations with their differences in cultures, languages, demands and varying emphasis on know-how pose considerable challenges to the organisation’s leadership.
In this complex environment we used our organisational development expertise to provide advice to the leadership in respect of its wealth of tasks. In close cooperation a set of learning & development opportunities for experts and consultants in the form of a modular programme was developed, among other things. The systemic training that has been conducted successfully for a number of years enables the participants to professionally support family businesses in transitioning from one generation to the next.
