A purchasing joint venture established in 2011 between a German and French group of companies pools a purchasing volume of several billion euros. The organisation defines itself as dynamic, open-minded, multicultural and collaborative.
The units with cross-border operations combine people from various organisational cultures and cultures of origin, different native languages, diverse formal skills and – above all – totally different ideas of their future collaboration.
With an inter-culturally focused leadership programme, the executives of the corporation were prepared for their complex leadership tasks and supported accordingly in coaching sessions. Emerging tensions and conflicts were defused by means of professional mediation processes.
