Prevention

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure

Work intensification, accelerated pace, increasingly long working lives: in our faced-paced time, organisations need to pay close attention to employee health if they wish to continue to operate smoothly tomorrow. The reason is that business success requires conditions in which people are able to sustain and optimally develop their mental and physical capacities.

Prevention as a cultural topic

Especially at a time when reliable employees, qualified specialists and high potentials are in great demand and becoming increasingly scarce it’s essential for organisations to maintain and promote the health of their staff.

Relationship design plays an important part in this context which is often underrated: the style – shaped by its senior management – in which an organisation deals with its staff is instrumental in this regard and leaders that aim to promote employee health enhance internal awareness of health-related topics and mindfulness in daily interaction.

Awareness and receptiveness

Prevention is ultimately a matter of corporate policy and has to be addressed accordingly. Meaningful activities can only be successfully established with lasting effects if an organisation develops an internal awareness and is receptive to a critical view of existing conditions and behaviours.

Together with our clients, we identify relevant action fields and create suitable activities and respective interventions. They extend from coaching programmes to specific health circles to the design of agreements for performance objectives that include health-related targets and are cascaded across all management levels. As acknowledged experts and experienced sparring partners in the area of prevention we assist organisations in taking appropriate actions for corporate health promotion together with their employees.
